Subsidised Exercise Classes For
Over 65 At REVITALIZEXPP
75% of Australians aged 65 and over are not sufficiently active. Physical activity is particularly important as we get older for maintaining energy levels, increasing joint movement, preventing, or managing mental health problems (by reducing stress and anxiety), and improving mood and memory function.
Now Australians over 65 can benefit from subsidised group exercise classes thanks to the Exercise Right for Active Ageing, a national program designed for older Australians over 65, and the funding from the Australian Government’s Move it AUS – Better Ageing Grants Program.
