Classes/Timetable
Pilates – clinical/healthy
All Pilates classes run for 60 minutes. Each individual has their own personalised program which they will work through under supervision by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist or Diploma qualified Pilates instructor. An initial assessment is needed before attending a Pilates group session and the ratio for the class is 1:4. Please advise our team if you have any special requests e.g. women only sessions.
Exercise Right Active Ageing Program
All ERAA classes run for 60 minutes. This is a government subsidised program, designed for those over 65+ and not currently meeting physical activity guidelines. All sessions are supervised by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. An initial assessment is needed before attending the Active Ageing ERAA class. Ratio for the class is 1:8.
*All classes are generic however exercises can be modified for the individual when needed.
Hydrotherapy
All current hydrotherapy sessions are held at the Ascot Vale Leisure Centre and run by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists. All sessions are currently run privately for 30min, 45min or 60min. *Entry fee is not included in the fee of the session.
Mixed Group Class
All mixed group classes run for 60 minutes. Each individual has their own personalised program which they will work through under supervision by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. An initial assessment is needed before attending the Mixed Group Class and the ratio for the class is 1:4 or 1:8.
*As all classes are run with a specifically tailored program for each individual those with chronic conditions such as diabetes, osteoporosis, hearth and lung conditions or cancer rehabilitation are suitable for these classes.
Yoga
No initial assessment is needed when attending our yoga classes. We encourage you to bring your own mat so that you feel more comfortable. These classes are suitable for all ages and are 60 min in duration. Class ratio is 1:8, where time and attention will be focused on detail and if further adjustments need to be made.
Progressive Ballet Technique Class
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students’ technique by focussing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. The program helps with injury prevention and rehabilitation and enhances the ability of athletes to perform at their best. An initial assessment and one private session is advised before entering into the class. Classes are 1:8 in ratio and is 50 min in duration.
