Classes/Timetable

Pilates – Clinical/Healthy

All Pilates classes run for 60 minutes. Each individual has their own personalised program which they will work through under supervision by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist or Diploma qualified Pilates instructor. An initial assessment is required before attending a Pilates group session and the ratio for the class is 1:4. Please advise our team if you have any special requests e.g. women only sessions.

*As all classes are run with a specifically tailored program for each individual – Those with chronic conditions such as diabetes, osteoporosis, heart and lung conditions or cancer rehabilitation etc are suitable for these classes.  

Kids Classes

All kids’ classes are for children over the age of 5 years. Each child is provided a personalised and specifically tailored program which they will work through, under supervision by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Our kids’ classes run for 45 minutes and have a 1:6 ratio. An initial assessment with an Accredited Exercise Physiologist is required before attending this class.

 * We accommodate all children, regardless of age, ability or health condition. 

Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) 

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students’ technique by focussing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. The program helps with injury prevention and rehabilitation and enhances the ability of athletes to perform at their best. An initial assessment and one private session is advised before entering into the class. Classes are 1:6 in ratio and is a 45 min in duration.

 

Active Aging

All active aging classes are for those over the age of 65 years, and involve a combination of balance and strength based exercises. The active aging group classes is 60 minutes in duration and have 1:6 ratio. The program involves a fully guided warm up, 5-6 exercise stations with 3-4 rounds of each, along with balance and stretching to conclude the classes. An initial assessment from an Accredited Exercise Physiologist is required before attending any active aging class.

*All classes are generic, however exercises will be specifically modified for the individual when needed (ie: if the exercise is too challenging, if you’re in pain, have a health concern or injury). 

Hydrotherapy 

Hydrotherapy classes are held at Ascot Vale Leisure Centre, Keilor East Leisure Centre & Mill Park Leisure Centre. All sessions are fully guided by one of our qualified practitioners. Hydrotherapy group classes are 60 minutes in duration and have a 1:6 ratio. A clinic-based initial assessment from an Accredited Exercise Physiologist is required before attending any hydrotherapy class. 

*All classes are generic, however exercises will be modified for the individual when needed (ie: if you’re in pain, have a health concern or injury). 

** Please Note: Entry fee into the leisure centres are NOT included in the fee of the class.
