Food Bank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation and are members of the international food banking networks that are dedicated to providing support globally and internationally.

August 6th 2021 is Jeans for Genes day. 

1 in 20 children face a birth defect or genetic disease. Such as cancer, cystic fibrosis and life-threatening disorders.  That equates to 12 kids every minute. With ~2,700 Victorian babies affected each year. 

Jeans for Genes is a great cause to raise money to help find a cure for children with spina bifida, cleft lip, ventricular septal defect, down syndrome, metabolic or degenerative disorders and many others.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in Australia the second most common cancer to cause death in women, after lung cancer.  It is estimated that 19,866 women and 164 men in Australia will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021.

Ovarian cancer is a disease where some cells in one or both ovaries start to grow abnormally and develop into cancer. Ovarian cancer is the eighth most common cancer in Australia. About 1532 Australian women are diagnosed each year.
