Do I need a referral to make an appointment at Revitalize XPP?

No you don’t require a referral. However, if your payments are to be paid by a 3rd party (ie. Medicare, WorkCover, TAC, DVA or NDIS), you, your coordinator or specialist will be required to complete the corresponding referral form.

Can I claim a private health rebate for attending Revitalize XPP?

Yes. You can claim through your private health fund for ALL sessions at Revitalize XPP. We recommend that you check with your health fund as the rebate will depend on your level of cover.

Do you offer gym memberships?

Revitalize Exercise Physiology + Pilates is not a gym. We currently offer pilates & mixed group memberships for 1, 2 or 3 sessions per week.

Do I have to do anything before my session at Revitalize XPP?

Yes. Please complete the ‘Revitalize Intake Form’ which will be sent to you via email with a security code to protect your information. The form will take you 5-7 min and you will need your medications list, Medicare card number, DVA or private health insurance policy number and payment details. If you are seeing us through NDIS, Workcover/Worksafe & TAC please fill in all your relevant fields.

I have been referred by my doctor. What should I bring along to my initial assessment?

Please bring any X-rays, scans and tests relevant to your visit. Furthermore, any referral letters or forms. You will also need to wear comfortable clothing, walking shoes and a drink bottle.

Do you have any exercise equipment at your studios that I could utilise to help achieve my goals?

Yes. Though we are not a gym, we are fully equipped to support your rehabilitation process and have a fully equipped Pilates studio.

Are all of your staff accredited professionals with relevant credentials and insurances?

Yes, we have Accredited Allied Health Specialists and Advanced Pilates Instructors. All of our Exercise Physiologists meet the strict guidelines for full membership, accreditation and insurance with all relevant professional associations in Australia. 

Also, our Advanced Pilates instructors hold our highest accreditation and work alongside our exercise physiologists to assist and support you through your personalised program.

Furthermore, the team at Revitalize Exercise Physiology + Pilates are fully accredited with Medicare Australia, WorkCover VIC, Department of Veteran Affairs, NDIS, TAC and All Private Health Funds.

Is there any public transport available nearby?

Yes there is public transport available nearby.

  • Tram 59 – Fletcher St/Napier St stop #41
  • Craigieburn Train – Stop at Essendon Station and a 2min walk
  • Buss 477 – Stop Raleigh St Essendon then 1 min walk
  • Bus 903 – Stop Rose St (Essendon Station) then 2min walk

  • 700m from Mernda Station, stops all stations to Flinders Street
  • Buses to and from Whittlesea, Greensborugh, Craigieburn, Diamond Creek, South Morang, Mill Park, Bundooora, Preston, Mernda and Doreen.

  • 3.6 km from Mernda Station 
  • 389 bus to and from Mernda Station – every 45 minutes.

There are also plenty of uber and taxis around to help accommodate your
transport needs.

Where do I park when attending your studios?

For premises 950 Mt. Alexander Rd, Essendon, 3040.

  • Parking in the Mt. Alexander Rd slip lane up to 2hrs 
  • Parking on Napier St from 1-2hrs.

For premises 162-178 Keilor Rd, Essendon North, 3041.

  • Off street parking on Duffy St, Essendon North.

For premises 5A/1 Danaher Drive, South Morang, 3752.

  • Parking in the shop car park out the front of premises.

    Is there Wheelchair access?

    What are reassessments?

    Reassessments are completed every 12-14 weeks. This is to ensure you are progressing over the year by keeping your program current and focussing on any necessary body adaptations. Please note, our practitioners are unable to make progressive amendments to your program unless they are for reassessment purposes.

    Do you have credit card facilities?

    Yes, we are a card only facility for safety purposes. Your card will be saved on an encrypted server. Rebates are done electronically on the spot for Medicare and will clear in 24 hours into your bank account.

    If I attend regular sessions how do I pay for my session?

    If you’re attending on a regular basis all sessions are charged 10 minutes into your designated session, and a receipt will be sent to you automatically for your records. Please note, your card will be cited in your initial consultation only. If your card needs to be updated, one of our friendly team will let you know so you can arrange a time to update these details.

    What happens if I miss my appointment /session?

    We will do our best to reschedule your session according to the terms of our cancellation policy.

    I’m a local area co-ordinator for an NDIS participant. How do I refer to Revitalize XPP?

    Call us on (03) 9016-3415 or fill in our online patient referral form here to make an initial booking. *We only see plan managed or private paying NDIS clients. 

    I’m a Case Manager/ Workcover client. How do I refer to Revitalize XPP?

    Please note, Workcover only pay their SCHEDULED fee’s. These are not fees set by Revitalize XPP. There is an out-of-pocket expense and needs to be paid on the day of your session. If you cancel your appointment (without 24hrs notice,) you will need to pay our FULL fee not just the out-of-pocket expense as Wockcover does NOT pay this.

    *  Your continued patronage of Revitalize XPP shall be considered your express consent to the T&Cs and your acknowledgement that you have read and understood the T&Cs, unless you expressly state to the contrary in writing.
